Wine NoteSharpham 'New Release' WhiteFrom vine to bottle in 8 weeks. Sharpham’s white alternative to Beaujolais Nouveau is released on the 3rd Thursday of November. Made predominantly from Madeleine Angevine (90%) and Bacchus (10%) the focus on 'free run' juice which is fermented in stainless steel tanks. Almost as soon as the ferments have finished, the wine is carefully blended and bottled in time for early release. As head winemaker Duncan Schwab puts it, the wine is great fun and has more fruit than a Greengrocers convention! |
