Casa da Passarella 'A Descoberta' Dao
A really attractive unoaked blend of Encruzado, Malvasia Fina and Verdelho.
Quite floral and grapey on the nose.
Pear drop, hints of melon and peach, grapey notes and a touch of spice and herb such as rosemary on the palate. All really clean and lively with citrus zest on the finish, and a pronounced slatey minerality; characterful and really tasty. I think like Spain many of Portugal's most interesting wines are white...
