Rully 1er Cru 'La Crée' Domaine Belleville
Lovely forward white Burgundy. Ripe citrus on the nose with hints of hazelnut, peachy fruit too, smoky and nutty.
Lovely on the palate, fresh and tangy but also quite rich; citrus and stone fruits, with delicate creamy, nutty oak and lovely balancing acidity. Long and complex and drinking really well. A fabulous pairing to richer fish dishes and top quality poultry. At well under £30 it's a way better value than more famous names in the Cote d'Or...
