Wine NoteBourgogne Chardonnay 'Les Ursulines' Jean-Claude Boissetirst try of this in a few years and quite delicious it is too.As ever a lot of very good wine from more famous cru's gets declassified into this. Ripe lemon and hints of peach with nutty oak on the nose. It's an elegant Bourgogne with plenty of extract, ripe citrus and peach with delicate creamy nutty oak, it's more like a mini Meursault than a regular Bourgogne. Has good acidity too making it tangy, and the finish is really long displaying some lovely lees and nutty oak. Great value, and will age nicely over the next 2-3 years. A good match to creamy fish dishes and poultry. |
