Luigi Bosca 'Signature'Pinot Noir, 2018Argentina Red Mendoza 75cl Buy a case for £156.00 (£13.00 per bottle) I really quite like this tasted and drunk twice a week apart. Its from Fina el Paraiso in Maipu. Aged 6 months in French oak. 14.5% alcohol, which initially put me off, but that's what is dangerous about drinking/tasting with your eyes. For sure its not light and ethereal but tasty and well balanced for sure it is ! Berry fruits with some meat and roasted vegetable characters on the nose. Bright and fresh on the palate, red berry fruits, spice, forest floor, oak and some hints of chocolate. It's not Burgundy, but varietal and tasty it sure is. Would be great with a rosemary infused shepherds pie! Published: 28 October 2020 , Author: Noel
