This is a blend of the previously almost forgotten variety Malagousia and better known Assyrtiko.
Floral nose with white peach and grapefruit both pink and white, white peach and spice. Crisp yet full flavoured, white peach, lemon, hints of lime and grapefruit with apricot, good fresh acidity and lime zest from the Assyrtiko. Clean and pure and really interesting, long and refreshing, touch of minerality as well. Young but absolutely singing. On a freezing january night this took me to warmer climbs in my head anyway!!
