Villa Maria make some great wines, of course and this is a delicious single vineyard wine and with 5 years age. Forest floor notes, cherry, plum, Asian spices, sandal wood too. Lovely wine juicy sweet Pinot Noir fruit with some savoury notes that kind of mirror the nose, forest floor and Asian spices. Lovely wine and makes a great change to see this kind of wine with some age. In its prime drinking window. Would be great with roast lamb, richer chicken dishes, also works well with duck, chilli etc.
