Quinta da Romeira 'Morgado de Santa Catherina' Bucelas Arinto
An intense and complex oak-aged Arinto from the historic Bucelas appellation to the north of Lisbon. Arinto is one of Portugal's top indigenous white grape varieties and thrives on the rolling clay-limestone hills of Bucelas, producing vibrant wines characterised by a linear acidity.
Bright lemon in colour. On the nose, intense aromas of crisp apple, ripe lemon and nectarine are married with subtle floral notes and toasty nuances from the oak ageing. The palate is broad and textured but balanced by a vibrant acidity which carries the intense flavours onto the long finish which has spice and some hints of vanilla.
