Nicosia Organic Nerello Mascalese
The Nerello Mascalese vines are cultivated on lava terraces in volcanic soils rich in minerals, 550-650m above sea level. Fermented at a cool temperature in stainless steel tanks. No added sulphites.
Fragrant aromas of wild strawberry and redcurrant with floral notes. Juicy red fruit on the palate with fresh acidity and a touch of spice on the finish. Best served cool, this Sicilian red is great with tomato based dishes, and generally very food friendly.
