The 2018 Riesling Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese *** (White Capsule) is bright and intense on the very elegant and refined yet aromatic and super ripe but elegant nose. On the palate, this is a rich and powerful, very intense and concentrated Riesling with a tight structure and a massive yet still not finessed or stimulating finish. The wine has remarkable finesse and salinity, yet it is still somewhat massive and square to really simulate. Never mind, the wine has time.
