Marco Abella 'Olbieta' Blanco
50% Garnacha Blanco, 50% Macabeo, DO Catalunya, from high altitude coastal influenced vineyards. Floral nose with pear, spice and a saline note. Crisp on the palate, pear, apple, spice, floral notes and again a slightly saline finish. Long with good acidity, it's not a big rich style, but really quite elegant with flavours that slowly build. Would work well with sushi, subtle salads, and delicate white meat dishes, but i think the salinity means fish would work best.
