Larry Cherubino 'Apostrophe' Stones Throw

Apostrophe is a new range from Larry Cherubino, who seems to have the midas touch at present! This is a delicious, aromatic off-dry blend of Riesling and Gewurztraminer with as the label says -some blanc! It's in fact a blend of Riesling 87%, Gewürztraminer 9%, Pinot Blanc 4% The Riesling and Gewurztraminer are planted next to each other hence the name 'Stones Throw'. Red apple, lime, white peach and a touch of musky spice on the nose. Off-dry and really zesty, lime, apple, apricot and subtle spicy notes with good acidity on a clean crisp finish. Really characterful and makes a great aperitif but would also work well with Asian dishes especially with a touch of chilli.
