Chateau Puynard Blaye Cotes de Bordeaux

A very attractive claret. 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Berry fruits, some grassy characters, cedar, hints of chocolate (plain) and oak on the nose. Quite bright and fresh with some sweet berry and plum fruits, again a hint of chocolate and oak, fresh, slightly grassy too. Good depth and length, rich and fresh and very drinkable now though will age over the next 5 years.
