This is a lovely Godello, from old vines and extended aging on its lees. Honey, lime, pineapple and a touch of salinity on the nose. Weighty, textural, creamy and rich with pineapple, lime, spice a minerally stony finish. Long, complex and quite delicious. Think rich white Burgundy crossed with a zesty dry Riesling from Alsace. Develops beautifully in the glass, nectarine and grapefruit join the show after a while, and this would be a terrific food wine.
