Giaconda Estate Vineyard Shiraz 2018

Exceptionally complex, dark and brooding. Black plum and wild berry fruits are complimented by graphite, undergrowth, smoked meats and elegant floral notes. The palate is plush followed with a crescendo of tannins that whisk the wine on a long journey over the palate. Here stands the iron fist in a velvet glove. Savoury tannins build on a long, spicy and complete mouthful of flavours. Despite the power and full throttle fruit, this wine retains an elegance and nobility often talked about though rarely seen. One of the most complete and satisfying Estate Vineyard wines released to date.

“Deep, bright red colour with a good tint of purple and a lovely spicy bouquet, which instantly evokes the Northern Rhône. The wine is full-bodied and very intense, lushly-fruited, soft and sweet in the centre, with amplitude and supple texture so that it already drinks really well.
