Wine Note

Yering Station 'Village' Yarra Valley

"Honeydew, white peach, a little almond and ginger spice oak. Good flavour, zesty acid cut, even flow and a persistent finish offering lime and spice as a farewell. Has an effortless appeal and built-in ease of drinking. Light flinty textural touches are at play too. Excellent value. Yum." 93 Points The Wine Front

Ripe lemon with toasty, nutty oak, a touch of cashew and butterscotch too.
It's fresh and tangy with lovely bright citrus, some mealy notes, nutty oak and a long minerally finish. Has really good acidity, and is a beautifully balanced complex Chardonnay, really long too.

Yering Station have rebranded their wines, bringing in this new tier called Village. Below this is Little Yering and above the Estate and then in the best years the Reserve. This is a very high quality Chardonnay from the relatively cool Yarra Valley.
