The food versatility of this wine has shoved it to the top of my wines of the year list. It has a brightness of berry fruit that makes it clearly new world, yet nothing overdone, not too sweet, just really well made, pure Tempranillo fruit with a lick of oak.
From Chilli Con Carne through many Indian dishes, tapas and beyond this wines sweet fruit, soft tannins but just enough acidity make it a real crowd pleaser. JH
