Tasca d'Almerita 'Leone d'Almerita'

60% Catarratto, 25% Chardonnay, 15% Gewurztraminer and Sauvignon Blanc
As already said Tasca d'Almerita are on top form and this is a particularly impressive white. Perfumed on the nose, quite flowery with citrus and white peach. Good weight on the palate, tangy with real depth, greengage, white peach, citrus too hints of mandarin as well, with tangy fresh acidity, long and complex. Really very attractive and great with seafood of course, lots of character and a real star wine.
