I reviewed the 2001 vintage of this wine last year and quite enjoyed it !
The good news is that this was even better.
100 % Syrah this time with the all of the wine being aged in 100% small French oak barrels. Smells sweet and flashy but is balanced by spicy savoury mid palate with a creamy oak finish . Laden with vanilla, coffee, clove and bright red fruit . A real suprise .......
