A new wine from the consistent de Gards winery, from the cool Leyda Valley home to some of Chile's best Pinot's.
It's 14.5% alcohol, and whilst not hot you feel this is a big Pinot, that being said it's jolly tasty!
Red berry fruits and spice on the nose with a touch of oak.
Vibrant and juicy with raspberry and redcurrant fruit, some plum too and spice, hints of oak on the finish. It's not overectracted in any way and has some delicate qualities however you do feel the alcohol a touch. It's no problem with food, but on it's own is just a bit much. Shame, almost very good.
