Innocent Bystander
Pinot Noir, 2011
Australia Red
Yarra Valley 75cl
High toned cherry and raspberry on the nose,a touch of herb too, fairly classic cool climate Pinot notes.
Bright on the palate, quite light in terms of body, redcurrant and raspberry, again some herb and the merest hint of oak.
It's got quite high acidity, and it's certainly a wine that would work well with meaty fish such as tuna. Tannins are ripe, and it's a very decent Pinot, in a lighter style.
