A really attractive, screw-capped Provence Rosé from Julian Faulkner's Domaine du Grand Cros. Made from Cinsault, Carignan, Grenache and Syrah. Each parcel is vinfied seperately and fermented fairly cool.
It's a classic vibrant salmon-pink colour. Quite spicy on the nose with berry and cherry fruits and a touch of pear drop. Strawberry is the main character on the palate, it's delicate but quite full flavoured and has a nice tangy character. Would be good with light fish dishes and salads.
