This is a delicious food friendly dry Rosé from the excellent Macia Batle winery in Mallorca. Made mainly from the local Mantonegro variety, the balance Cabernet with Merlot and a splash of Syrah and Callet. Around 6 hours on skins is enough to give this a lovely vivid pink colour. Peach and raspberry with a touch of nettley spice on the attractive nose, zesty and fresh on the palate with lots of red berry fruit, a touch of spice and good acidity, lovely intensity of flavour, quite creamy in a way, certainly a full flavoured, good food style.
