Lehmann's top Riesling honouring chief winemaker Andrew Wigan. It's made from the best parcels from various Eden Valley vineyards. These are held back and released as a 5 year old wine. It wins trophies and awards galore. It's a really great wine, and yet again a trophy winner. Showing a hint of petrol on the nose, classic aged Riesling- but also lovely lime fruit with hints of red apple. Dry and minerally on the palate, with again lime fruit and hints of riper fruits too, shows flavour development, but still incredibly fresh and will age many more years. Great, and given the exchange rate, a ridiculous value.
