Another excellent wine from French sommelier Franck Massard. El Brindis apparently stands for a toast. It's made from the local Samso and Garnacha grapes, and is grown on limestone and schist.
Ripe black cherry and plum on the nose with some spice and toasty oak.
It's already very soft and appealing, full of ripe berry and plum fruit, good acidity spice and integrated oak.Rich but beautifully balanced with a real vibrancy to it and was great with some slow cooked beef short ribs tonight.
A cracking new wine for drinking now and over the next 3 years.
