This is really good and a real Northern Rhone lookalike at a fraction of the price. Black and red berry fruit on the nose, black pepper too, very Syrah, some smokey notes and hints of bacon.
Lovely sweet berry fruits on the palate, again some smokey and bacon notes, bright tannins and good acidity. Really juicy, yet retaining a real savoury character. Excellent.
