Macon Igé 'Chateau London' Jean-Claude Boisset
A delicious 2010 from Boisset. Gregory Patriat makes lovely wines at all levels.
From a lieux-dit in Macon Igé called Chateau London and interestingly made with a mutation of the Chardonnay grape- Chardonnay Musqué which produces a more perfumed aromatic style of wine.
Lovely ripe lemon on the nose with a touch of nutty oak. Crisp and tangy with lovely ripe lemon and stone fruits with delicate oak. It's fresh and bright and already really delicious, drink over the next 3 years.
