Weingut Wieninger 'Gemischter Satz'
This is Fritz Wieninger's entry level Austrian field blend. Several varieties are harvested together and in this wine are made into a fresh unoaked crisp easy drinking white. The 2006 was good and this is even better. Fresh, tangy, grapey nose with some spice. It's zesty with a slight spritz. Ripe citrus and hints of stone fruit on the palate. Limey acidity keeps it really crisp and it's refreshing and easy to drink. A touch of white peach and spice too. Lovely!!
