An interesting red made from Sangiovese and Montepulciano. I think it shows the vagaries of 2003 having a wonderful perfume and some lovely fruit, but just a touch hollow in the middle and has a slightly baked feel. Slightly bitter sweet with some good plum and cherry fruit. Touch of raisin and damson too with puckering tannins. It's goo but i would like to compare it from a more even year.
