This wine has consistently been excellent. Yet again a Trophy Winner at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards. The 2004 is another fantastic wine. A lovely inviting perfumed nose of mulberry, raspberry and black cherry with some vanilla and spice. It's soft with lovely sweet fruit, good acidity and some creamy toasty oak in perfect harmony with the rich fruit. Tannins are soft and this is already delicious. It's beguiling with it's perfumed nose and sweet varietal fruit. Long and quite delicious. Beautifully balanced.
