Wow! What a surprise. This is a simply delicious Bourgogne Aligote from Olivier Leflaive. 12% alcohol. Fresh citrus, honey and some minerals on the nose. It's crisp with lovely fresh citrus again. Honeyed and rounded and with real drinkability. It's crisp but not at all devoid of fruit as so many 'battery acid' Aligote's are! This is absolutely delicious, beautifully balanced with almost a creamy finish, minerally too. It's light but not lacking in any way. Great value as well!
