The 2004 of this was a trophy winner at the International Wine Challenge 2005-the good news is that this the newly arrived 2005 is in my mind even better! Has a fresh nose with citrus and passion fruit, a touch grassy too. It's really fresh and zesty on the palate. Crisp and intense yet retaining an elegance. It's dry with tangy citrus and white peach on the palate. It's got real poise and nothing is overdone making this really drinkable from the first glass to the last, which is not always the case with Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Cracking wine that will only get better given it has just arrived.
