Quite a famous name from Provence, this is made entirely from Rolle, not a grape many would be that familiar with (although it is actually the same as Vermentino). Quite a scented, zesty nose led to a delicious palate with citrus, pear, white apricot, minerals and a hint of grass on the finish. Delicious stuff, ideal for summery afternoons in the garden (not that I have one!) or with light salads and fish simply cooked.
