This is the new release from Yalumba's Pewsey Vale. A single vineyard Riesling from a high altitude vineyard in the Eden Valley. Pear drop and gentle lime and lemon fruit on a fresh quite delicate perfumed nose. It's dry, but not overly with crisp lime fruit, lemon a touch of honey. Clearly young and a little subdued at present (it has only just arrived). Has a nice crisp dry mouthwatering finish and promises much. Due early in 2005.
