Horst Sauer made wonderful 2003's. This Silvaner is a revelation. The warm vintage producing rich full flavoured wines. Weighing in at 13%. It has ripe lemon, a touch of grapefruit and spice on the nose. Really rich and mouthfilling with citrus and stone fruits spice and tangy acidity. It's softer than many Silvaner's yet retains a crisp clean character. Really rich, concentrated and long. Wonderfully tangy and deliciously different.
