This is my partner in Magpie Estate-Rolf Binders favourite wine with Asian food! It does indeed work well and is a lovely drier style of Gewurztraminer. Spicy and musky with perfumed fruit. Less oily than it's Alsace counterparts. It has lychee and spice with honeyed citrus fruit. Quite crisp for the low acid Gewurztraminer and all the more drinkable for it. It's clean, fresh and crisp, spicy and very drinkable. It's a lovely new world food-friendly style.
