A fabulous new release. We have bought a big chunk of this wine, albeit only 100 or so cases were made. An oak aged ripe Pinot Blanc, from the talented Kurt Angerer winery in Kamptal. Lovely fragrant nose of ripe citrus, lime, honey, pear, white peach and a touch of oak. Beautifully ripe and mouth-filling on the palate. Packed with honeyed citrus and white peach. Has a lovely creamy texture and flavour with honey and a gentle nutty oak. Kurt makes wines with great texture and wonderful purity, yet opulent and rich. This is fabulous wine that could well develop over the next few years.
