This is one of Australia's most consistent 'value' Pinot Noir's over the years. This 2002 has had good press in Australia. Very varietal strawberry and raspberry fruit. Touch smoky with a hint of herb and spice. On the palate it is ripe Pinot to the fore. It has a touch of 'nervous' acidity that keeps the wine high-toned but i am sure will become less obvious with bottle age. It is loaded with lovely sweet cherry and raspberry fruit, with subtle oak on the nose and ripe tannins. An exuberant, delicious Pinot Noir. Price tbc but around the £11 mark.
