This is one of a range of samples we have from Domaine des Yeuses who have a good reputation of making characterful inexpensive wines. This the Vermentino has an attractive nose, with lifted green fruits, a touch of peach and citrus. A fresh zippy style, with limey fruit charcters, really quite clean and tangy with the feel of a touch of citrus juice. Expressive and good clean fresh drinking. At around £4.50 this is very good value.
