Rene Mure, both under this label and Clos St Landelin is making some top quality wines. This is just an odd bottle i bought on a clearance-we have others in quantity and they will be available in the shop. Quite a deep colour, intense honeyed, spicy nose, with a touch of caramel. Full flavoured, and spicy. It's not especially fat or viscous and has good acidity for Pinot Gris. Quite minerally on the finish. It's fairly dry for the style and is a decent if unspectacular wine. Not in the league of the more current releases especially those of the Clos St Landelin monopole which are truly great.
