This is a new venture between the Pike of the Clare Valley and the Joyce family. This is a delicate Pinot Noir that is classically cool climate in its origins, yet has nothing unripe. Delicate perfumed cherry fruit on the nose. Already looking a little developed. Medium-bodied with delicate sweet fruits and spice. Elegany yet lacking nothing. Their is a tendency to make Pinot like Shiraz, this does not fall into that trap. For consumption soon, however it is quite delicious. Totally varietal and a classic example.
