Another Gold medal winner at this years International Wine Challenge. Ripe sweet plum and raisin fruit and oak on the nose. 6 months in French oak. 14.5% alcohol. It's a big upfront style with lovely rich warm spicy fruit. It's big and dense yet quite vibrant. At this stage a vibrant warm spicy red that is far removed from your traditional leathery Portugese red and a worthy medal winner!
