The 2001 of this won many awards and was a real cracker! The new 2002 is possibly even better and certainly has greater cellaring potential. Stone fruit, citrus, honey, nougat and cream on a fresh yet rich nose. Great concentration on the palate with really fresh citrus acidity. Honeyed, ripe, necatarine and citrus fruit, with butterscotch/nougat creamy tones-probably from malolactic fermentaion. It's rich and full yet finishes with a real crisp, clean, fresh character. Sure to develop well over the next 2-3 years. Complex and good value at £10.99
