This has a real following and as a previous International Wine Challenge Gold medal winner it is easy to see why. Text book Barossa Shiraz. Deep colour, ripe black and red fruits on the nose with sweet vanillan oak. Powerful and full of dense black cherry, plum, meat, plain chocolate, spice and creamy oak. It's big for sure, but extremely well balanced. The huge fruit and spice are perfectly complemented by seasoned oak. Tannins are soft and ripe. It's an opulent serious red that whilst drinking well now has at least 5 years ahead of it. It's a serious, quality Barossa Shiraz at the bargain price of around £10
