Stonecroft are famed for there Gewurztraminer and Syrah. This is the latest Gewurztraminer and delicious it is too. Some lychee and spice, but quite a fresh nose with peach, honey and citrus. On the palate it is not as fat as some of it's countries counterparts nor it's Alsacian cousins! Quite powerful and rich with some lychee and gentle spice, it's full and rich and almost creamy, yet it has citrus fresh acidity stopping it becoming fat and cloying. Just off dry it has great extract and is really drinkable despite it's youth. A tangy yet spicy wine. Super! Available now at around £13
