This comes from the well-renowned village of Cramant. The cork said 1996 but this was labelled and bought as a NV Champagne. Yeasty nose, some honeyed fruit too. Leesy with raspberry and citrus fruit. Well aged with a fine mousse, it was very dry with honeyed fresh citrus tones, quite honeyed, and despite being 100% Chardonnay, had raspberry tones too. Clean and rich with good weight. At around £16-£17 this is a quality NV Champagne.
