Overcoming the aroma of this wine is the first step to enjoying it , if I told you this was really quite rustic that would be a huge understatement , I dont think I can quite describe all the odours whilst remaing polite so i will skip it and go on to the palate . This is a full flavoured wine rich dark and brooding with lovely sweet Balkan cherry jam fruit and some creamy oak allied to this is firm but ripe tannins and grippy engaging structure . Hopefully the nose will "blow off " ( excuse the pun ) If so i will update this note . Otherwise a great wine for drinking not sniffing
