Bright raspberry and bramble fruits on the nose, with hints of plum, prune and raisin with atouch of oak. Full to medium palate again bright bramble fruits with spice, pepper and creamy French oak. Really quite vibrant, with just a hint of raisin. Tannins are soft too. All round very attractive flavoursome Zin that is drinking really well now and over next 2-3 years. At sub £20 it's reasonable value. Sadly it would have to retail for £29 which despite being very good Zin is very poor value. Come on California!!!!
