"Dead Man's Hill" Gewurztraminer, 2000
I remember this wine fondly.A 1986 drunk many years ago was great.I was interested to see this wine won an award in the 2001/02 Penguin Good Australian Wine Guide. Some typical lychee like spice on the nose.Sadly lacking any extract on the palate. It has a touch of honey and citrus with some spice.Tastes a touch dilute. It's pleasent but nothing special.Would make an ok drink with Thai food but on this showing stick to Alsace.
