Must be an ever present since I opened in 1992! After the delicious 2015, this is a great follow up.
Lovely bright cherry on a classic Valpolicella nose.
Deliciously fresh and crunchy- bright red fruits to the fore with lovely juicy acidity, a touch of herb and crunchy tannins. It's a touch more money than most Valpolicella's and would be Classico if not screw cap, but really is worth it, brighter, fresher, more depth of fruit. Great with chicken parmagiano this evening. It's a red that pairs well with tomato.
